I’ve been to the middle of nowhere. At least I think I have. The middle of nowhere is ever elusive -- less a place than an uneasy sensation that you’ve gone too far to ever make it back to indoor plumbing and refrigerated beer.
It’s far easier to pinpoint the center of the civilized world.
